This last fall, Jon Russell joined us to kick off the 40 Days for Life in Seattle.  The Faith & Freedom Foundation, which he is the director of, is having a kick-off event for the coming political season.  All interested, please consider attending!

We will be meeting Woodin Valley Baptist Church located at 5400 228th St. SE in Bothell on Monday, February 25th at 6PM. We will be discussing vital election strategy for the faith community, which will include information on Dino Rossi and local legislative districts. This is a round the clock prayer campaign that is happening in the same time frame as the spring 40 Days for Life campaign and one of their focuses is the pro-life cause.  If this isn’t meant to be I don’t know what it.  If you can make it to any of their events you should definitely do so.  A little bit of cross pollination could go a long way with a little divine intervention!

Washington’s 30th Annual March for Life will take place on Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at noon on the Capitol grounds in Olympia, Washington. You are cordially invited to attend 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Michael’s (1021 Boundary St SE, Olympia, WA 98501) prior to the March for Life. The Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Eusebio Elizondo and priests from the Archdiocese.

A story published over on Charisma Magazine has some good news!

The Colorado state Supreme Court unanimously ruled on Tuesday to allow a proposed initiative defining a fertilized egg as a human being to circulate for voter approval, reported the Rocky Mountain News.

Anti-abortion leaders must now obtain 76,047 signatures over the next six months in order for the initiative to become a constitutional amendment on the November 2008 ballot.

I know so many of us were disappointed when we heard that Bella would
not be opening in Seattle.  Well, our prayers have paid off:  Bella is
coming to Seattle starting November 16th!  Please make every effort to
get to the theater and support this incredible work of God that has
managed to make its way in to the mainstream of Hollywood.
